Jonathan McLean worked at The Jewish Board from 2007 to 2019. He started his career with the agency as a preventative social worker and over the course of his tenure held many roles, ultimately being promoted to Program Director for the residential treatment center at Hawthorne Cedar Knolls, through to when the Westchester campus closed in 2018. He credits the professional opportunities and training he received at The Jewish Board with furthering his career development following a period of incarceration as a young adult. He now serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Center for Alternative Sentencing and Employment Services (CASES), whose mission is to break unjust cycles of arrest and incarceration.
