This training films was developed by SR Slavson, Director of Group Psychotherapy, for the Jewish Board of Guardians in 1950 in collaboration with Columbia University and Campus Film Productions. The film was intended to primarily to serve as a training tool for clinicians in the practice of child activity group therapy, a modality pioneered by Slavson during his time at JBG. Slavson also traveled across the country and world with the films as a tool to help with his consultations and trainings for group therapy practitioners.
