Report on the Study of Child Caring Agencies, 1940-1941, which was conducted by the New York Association for Jewish Children and the Jewish Board of Guardians “under the auspices of a special committee of the Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies.” The report was authored by JBG Psychiatric Director Lawson Lowery, MD, and the special committee was comprised of members from both collaborating agencies, including JBG Executive Director John Slawson.
